FIT TWO

Black and White Landscape image of Alder Trees alone a snowy rivers edge. A long merganser flies in a blur over the water.

A lone Merganser over the Squamish River.

Day two of the project. I feel deeper into a project than I’ve been in a while and I’m only on day two. What does that mean. It means progress. One step at a time! Up! Up! Forward!

Is this moody black and white landscape appealing? I hope so. I’m actually putting in the time to do some printing experiments. I can’t quite start to shoot primarily film yet. But I’m moving more and more back toward making black and white images. My heart belongs a little bit always to the darkroom. But my experiments with inkjet prints will have to do. I’m excited to see some real physical prints for the firs time in a looonnng time.

So yes, I’m pretty excited to have a few tests already in the pipeline. I’m waiting for some labs to open up again, as well as some samples with how some of these kinds of images look printed on aluminum. Hopefully in a few weeks I’ll have some success and be able to offer them up for sale.

I feel a weight of pressure rolling off my shoulders that I’m getting a few things rolling finally.

That’s all the time I’ve got for today. And I’m sliding that in right under the wire.
